Shrewsbury Town and the Shrewsbury Town Foundation have joined forces with Shropshire Council to support children who receive free school meals this Christmas.
The Holiday, Activity and Food Programme (HAF) is in operation in Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and Ludlow and aims to provide youngsters with free activities and food throughout the school break.
Funded by Shropshire Council, the HAF programme allows children in receipt of free school meals in the county to gain access to multi-sport activities while they also receive a hot nutritious meal each day.
With Christmas around the corner, we wanted to go the extra mile for these families at a time that is celebrated by many but can be tough financially.
We are asking our Shrewsbury Town family to come together this Christmas and donate gifts so that the children can pick, wrap, and gift their loved ones a present.

Whether it’s a gift set or some chocolate - any and all donations are very much appreciated and will help to make someone’s Christmas extra special.
Donations can be dropped off at the foundation building at the Croud Meadow or in the club reception.
Even the smallest donation can help make the biggest smiles.
