Foundation Day 2023 is set for the Shrewsbury vs Portsmouth Fixture.
Formally known as Community Day, this year will see the first Foundation Day take to the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
On Saturday, April 15, when we take on Portsmouth, we will host our Foundation Day; a day where we showcase the work we deliver to our community.
But this year we’re doing something slightly different.. a kids takeover!
We want to give our young Salopians the chance to step into the shoes of the various roles on a matchday and find out more about how each role at the ground is vital to creating a successful matchday experience.
The lucky individuals will get the chance to see behind the scene activities as they take on the challenge of becoming a member of the Shrewsbury Town matchday squad.
Roles available include:
· Matchday Announcer
· Grounds person
· Media Executive
· Kit Technician
