Shrewsbury Town travel to the Wham Stadium this Saturday to take on Accrington Stanley in the Sky Bet League One. Kick-off is at 3pm.

On Tuesday night, Shrewsbury travelled to Exeter City and picked up a point in a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Accrington hosted Wycombe Wanderers and lost 2-0, with a goal scored in each half.

The Saturday fixture saw Salop beat Port Vale 3-2 at Montgomery Waters Meadow. Vale took the lead courtesy of Dominic Politic after 13 minutes, but Salop equalised through Chey Dunkley. Luke Leahy then put his side ahead 33 minutes in, followed by Killian Phillips grabbing the third to give a two-goal cushion going into the break. Vale went on to get another in the 52nd minute, but Salop secured all three points in the end.

For the visitors, Accrington’s Saturday fixture finished 0-0 in their trip away at Cheltenham Town.

Shrewsbury and Accrington have faced each other 24 times before, with Salop winning 11 of those, drawing six and losing seven. The last time these sides met in August, the game ended in a 1-0 win for Accrington at the Wham Stadium.
