Jordan Shipley spoke to the media ahead of our League One clash against Wycombe tomorrow.
The Chairboys head to Shropshire for what will be their first game under new boss Matt Bloomfield - with Gareth Ainsworth leaving for QPR earlier this week following 13 years in charge.
Last weekend, Town saw a seven-match unbeaten run come to an end at Accrington Stanley.
Speaking to the assembled media, Jordan discussed his and the team's impressive performances this season.
And the wing-back also said how eager Town's players are to return to winning ways tomorrow.
ON HOW HE’S FEELING AFTER A BUSY RUN OF FIXTURES:
“I’m feeling good. We have got 14 games left now and to have been involved in every game so far – that is why I came here, I wanted to play football.
"I’m enjoying it thoroughly. I’ve found a new position at left wing-back and I feel I’ve done really well there.
"I'm enjoying it and all of the other lads are enjoying it as well so hopefully we can get back to winning ways on Saturday and go from there.
ON THE DEMANDS OF PLAYING IN LEAGUE ONE:
“We have got a good staff here. They look after you and tell you when you should do more and when you should get your feet up and not do as much.
“As professionals we all know what our body needs. We just manage ourselves throughout the week.
“We have done well so far to get to this point with three games in a week.
“I’m really enjoying it and I think if you are enjoying it the game feels easy.
“When you are confident, you look at the likes of Marcus Rashford, he’s playing with confidence and a smile. It’s kind of like that.
“All the lads here are confident. We are coming off a loss – it's a tough place to go Accrington.
"But we thought we could have done better ourselves and now we are going into Wycombe and it’s all in our hands.
“We have to play everyone above us so it’s going to be a good run-in"
ON THE GROUP:
“When I first came in I knew a handful of lads and I had played against a couple as well.
“But all the lads here are so welcoming. They welcomed me from the first day so it feels like I have been here for years.
“I’m sure all the other lads who signed will say the same thing as well. It’s a really good bunch and I’m happy to be here.”
ON GETTING BACK TO WINNING WAYS:
“We had that feel good factor and we have still got it. The mood's not dampened or anything by one loss.
"We want to win every game and we are going into Wycombe with our heads high and going for three points."
ON BEING EIGHTH IN THE TABLE:
“Everyone to a man has done really well, from staff to players. To be where we are is a massive, massive, achievement but we don’t want to stop here.
“We want to see how high we can go up the table and maybe we can sneak into the play-off spots – you never know.
“We are going to give it our all and hopefully that will be enough.
“We know we've got a good team here, we trust each other and hopefully we can get there and over the line.”
