We will join the rest of the EFL in holding a minute's silence this weekend in tribute to the people of Turkey and Syria following the disastrous earthquake that took place on Monday morning.
The EFL said:
'The whole world has been moved by the heart-breaking scenes witnessed in Turkey and Syria after a tragic earthquake hit both countries in the early hours of Monday morning. Over 19,000 people have been reported to have lost their lives and thousands more injured.
'Through our official charity partnership with the British Red Cross, the EFL is supporting the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Appeal to help those impacted by the devastating earthquake.
'To help raise awareness and as a mark of respect to those who have tragically lost their lives, all EFL clubs will wear black armbands and hold a minute’s silence at their fixtures this weekend.'
