Shrewsbury Town travel to the Pirelli Stadium this Saturday to take on Burton Albion in the Sky Bet League One. Kick-off is at 3pm.

Last Saturday, Salop were knocked out of the FA Cup after a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Montgomery Waters Meadow. The game looked to be heading for a goalless draw until the 81st minute when Matthew Pennington put Shrewsbury ahead. However, Ross Stewart and Luke O’Nien both scored in stoppage time to turn the tie around for Sunderland.

Meanwhile, Burton Albion’s FA Cup tie also ended in defeat as they lost 1-0 away at Grimsby Town. Lewis Richardson grabbed the only goal of the game in the second half to send his side through.

Prior to the FA Cup, Shrewsbury lost 3-0 at home to Fleetwood Town in their last league outing.

Visitors Burton Albion last league fixture was away at Morecambe, where the Brewers were beaten 5-0 by the Shrimps.

Shrewsbury have faced Burton on 19 occasions before, with Salop winning eight of those, drawing six and losing five.
