Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce we have agreed a deal for Elite Pro Sports to be our retail partner.
The Yorkshire-based business specialises in sporting franchises, e-commerce and distribution – with this agreement allowing us to significantly improve the retail experience we offer our fans.
Elite Pro Sports (EPS) have a vast array of sporting clients, including Doncaster Rovers and Lincoln City. They also work with England Rugby League as well as Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers and Huddersfield Giants.
The company has now taken charge of and redesigned our retail website to ensure it is easier to use and better showcases the products on offer.
That website will go live at 11am tomorrow and will be the place where Shrewsbury fans can buy our brand-new home kit!
Elite Pro Sports will also manage and design the layout of our new club shop which is opening soon at The Croud Meadow.
Additionally, they will support the club with the promotion and advertising of our products.
Jamie Edwards, chief business development officer at Shrewsbury Town said, “After reviewing our previous retail offer – both online and with our club shop – we felt it was vital to increase capacity and resources to improve the retail experience for our fans.
“Our partnership with EPS aims to provide a first-class retail experience to our supporters and the structure of the agreement has allowed us to do this in a sustainable way which will pay dividends to the football club in the long-term.
“EPS has reacted quickly to help us with all our retail needs. Although the stock on offer will be minimal to begin with, they have got lots of exciting plans for Shrewsbury Town merchandise that I’m sure supporters will love so our products will expand drastically in the coming months.
“It’s the beginning of a new era at Shrewsbury Town, this partnership is another step forward and I want to assure supporters everyone here is working hard to enhance all aspects of the club.
“This includes investing in a new store at The Croud Meadow which will be opening ahead of the first game of the season to show our commitment to improving the match day experience for all.”
Lee Jenkinson, chief executive at Elite Pro Sports, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Shrewsbury Town on a long-term agreement.
“Having worked closely with the club in recent weeks, it’s apparent that there is huge potential for the retail operation both via online and in-store channels and we are looking forward to helping bring that potential to fruition.”
