Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce the signing of talented centre-back Jason Sraha.
Jason is our fourth addition of the week with Elliott Bennett, Eliot Thorpe and Tunmise Sobowale also arriving to significantly boost the options available to head coach Matt Taylor.
A left-footed centre-back, Jason began his career in the Chelsea youth set-up before moving on to Arsenal under-18s in 2021.
He then spent two years with Barnsley before his move to Shropshire.
Jason has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option of a further year in the club's favour.
Head coach Matt Taylor said:
"Jason is an exciting young player who came through the Arsenal academy.
"He is a talented defender who had terrible luck with injuries last season.
"He’s left footed and we have signed him because we want that balance however it’s important to note we will also be signing another left-sided centre-back to add competition to the back line.
"Jason is a young man with a point to prove and I believe he will fit in with the group extremely well due to his personality and ability."
