Rekeil Pyke previewed tomorrow's trip to face Ipswich Town.
We travel to Portman Road to take on the high-flying Tractor Boys on Saturday as we look to continue our fine start to 2023 which has seen us win eight of our last 12 games - with Rekeil scoring on two occasions in that run.
The 25-year-old in is his third season with us and has proved a versatile option for Steve Cotterill, playing as a striker and a right wing-back so far this campaign.
Rekeil discussed tomorrow's opponents, Ipswich Town, his season so far and how tightly-knit our squad is.
ON HIS SEASON SO FAR:
"I feel like this is my best season here. I had an injury at the start, in my first season here, but I think it's gotten better since then."
ON IPSWICH
"I feel like we need to focus on ourselves and do what we do best and try and win the game.
"They've got good players, they move the ball well but like I said we just need to focus on ourselves and try to win the game."
ON THE MOOD IN THE SQUAD:
"Very good. Everyone wants to finish in the top six and that's what we're striving for.
"Everyone gets on well. The togetherness is good and I think we show that on the pitch and around the training ground as well.
"Everyone is buzzing [after a win]. All we want to do is win games so everyone is buzzing when we win together."
