Shrewsbury Town Academy is seeking a university student to cover all under-18s matchdays for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for covering all home and away fixtures on X (formerly Twitter), filming and clipping goals for X, conducting a short post-match interview and occasionally writing a match report for the club's matchday programme.
The successful candidate will be provided with a camera, tripod, microphone and an Adobe Suite log-in to complete their tasks. Travel to all away games will also be provided.
Responsibilities on a matchday:
- Posting goal updates on X
- Editing graphics templates (matchday and half-time/full-time) on Photoshop
- Filming and clipping goals for X
- A post-match interview
- A 200-word match report on occasion
Requirements:

| Must be studying media or journalism at university | Basic understanding of Photoshop |
| Some experience filming on a camcorder camera | Experience conducting interviews |
| Basic understanding of X (formerly Twitter) | A driving license and access to a car |
| Experience writing match reports |
