Shrewsbury Town Academy is inviting fans to come down to Shrewsbury Sports Village and to take part in a fundraiser during the under-18's game against Wrexham at 10am on Saturday, October 7th.
The challenge is to cycle the distance from Shrewsbury to Wrexham and back on spin bikes before the full-time whistle blows in the under-18's clash - with all funds raised going to support wellbeing and player opportunities and events within the academy.
With at least five bikes available, players, staff and fans alike are encouraged to come down and play their part in a cumulative effort to cycle the 76.6 miles in just under three hours, with the game expected to finish shortly before 1pm.
Donations can be made either on the day or by contacting playercare@shrewsburytown.co.uk to arrange a transaction.
