THREE Shrewsbury Town players have taken part in a football education session on our Foundation's 3G pitch.
Defenders Morgan Feeney, Joe Anderson, and Mal Benning took part in September’s player appearance at the Foundation and joined the second-year students at Shrewsbury Town College and University for their practical lesson.
Taking place on the Foundation’s 3G pitch, the players were keen to get involved and took part in a series of games with the students while sharing their skills and footballing tips, all while answering the students' burning questions.
Isaac Pollard, football and participation senior lead, said: “It was great to see the players taking part in one of our football education sessions, and I hope they enjoyed their visit.
"The students got a lot from the appearance, and it was beneficial to meet with professional players."
