The Shrewsbury Town Foundation is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as its foundation director.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing strategic direction, driving organisational growth, and ensuring the effective delivery of our mission to make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
We are looking for a foundation director to provide strong, inspirational senior leadership to the foundation, developing and delivering our ambitious strategic plans.
By working closely with the board and management team, the director will have overall responsibility for governance, growth, and financial sustainability.
The director will develop opportunities and identify and secure diverse income streams that can be reinvested in community-based activity for the benefit of all our communities.
As an ambassador for both the foundation and club, the role will foster a positive culture, ensuring staff at all levels across the organisation are inspired and encouraged to succeed and prosper.
The trustees are looking for a high-calibre foundation director who can deliver and effectively communicate our vision, mission, and values clearly.
Salary: Circa £50,000.00 Per Annum
Core hours with flexibility between the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential as weekend and evening work will be essential.
Established in 1996, Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation is the official charity of Shrewsbury Town Football Club; we are the club’s way of giving back. We utilise the power of sport to engage, inspire and strengthen our local community.

The Individual:
The foundation director must provide strategic leadership for the foundation.
You will have exceptional business development experience, highly effective networking, partnership, advocacy and negotiating skills with the ability to influence successful relationships with key stakeholders and potential commercial partners is essential.
Additionally, you will be comfortable managing executive and non-executive board-level meetings, with the ability to influence and establish credibility as a trusted leader across all our networks.
We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards work, with the capacity to be creative and innovative and continually motivate and inspire all around you.
