Matt Taylor met with the press after today's game.
Town fell to defeat and were subsequently knocked out of the FA Cup at the Croud Meadow this afternoon.
Salop created plenty of great chances but were unable to find that crucial finish.
Matt discussed an exceptionally frustrating afternoon in his post-match interview.
On the game:
"It's a tough one. You can't dominate a game of football in the way that we did and then be stood here having not won the game.
"Look, the margins in any game are so fine and I thought we got a performance today from our players. The energy was excellent, they pressed, they had a real verve about them in the first 15-20 minutes.
"And we get that really big chance in the first half and we don't take it. Marko hasn't had a save to make and he's picked the ball out of his net once.
"I would imagine when I look back and I look at the statistics of the game, the big chances and the big moments fell to us and we've not taken them.
"I think I've got to, as you do when you do this job, come out and own the facts and look at what has happened, today we got a really dominant performance.
"I thought for spells in that game we were better than Wrexham but I'm stood here talking about a loss.
"The margins are fine, but you can't come away from the fact that we've missed two glorious opportunities inside their six-yard box.
"That wasn't the case six days ago and that shows you just how important goals are.
"I think we've spent a lot of time this season talking about goals and the lack of them. But it was about the fact we weren't creating chances. Now we're creating chances and not finishing them, it's just not good enough from my perspective and I know the players feel the same."
