Oxen to become Shrewsbury's official kit and teamwear supplier

12 January 2024

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce that Oxen will become our official kit and teamwear supplier from the start of the 2024/25 season.

The UK-based sportswear brand will provide kits for our men’s team, academy teams and women’s team plus management and performance staff.

The partnership with Oxen means we will have high-quality, bespoke, training wear and kits that will be delivered on time and will be made in a fair-trade and sustainable manner.

Shrewsbury Town are also pleased to announce that following consultation with supporters on our fan engagement panel, our home kit for the 2024/25 campaign will see a return to our famous blue and amber stripes.

We will also be working with Oxen to put together a fan poll to vote for our away kit and a potential third kit.

Oxen already has a strong presence across a variety of sports in the UK.

They are the official apparel and retail partner of England Rugby League across their men’s, women’s and wheelchair teams.

They are also the technical apparel suppliers to the GB Speedway Team, Leeds Rhinos, Gloucester Rugby and - in football - work with Lincoln City and Doncaster Rovers.

Oxen are part of the Elite Pro Sports Group – who last year became our retail partner.

Since working with EPS, we have recorded numbers for online orders and we are looking forward to seeing this long-term partnership continue to flourish in the future.

Liam Dooley, chief executive at Shrewsbury Town, said: “We are delighted to have officially partnered with Oxen.

"Working with Oxen will give us the opportunity to be flexible with bespoke kit design and more importantly ensure kits are here on time for our players and supporters.

"Also, their adaptability will give us lots of chances to improve our fan engagement as we move forward together."

Oxen chief executive Lee Jenkinson said: “We are delighted to have signed a significant partnership with Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

"Having worked closely with the club in recent months, the 24/25 ranges are already well underway and we look forward to seeing the fan's reaction to these launches at the end of the 23/24 season.

"We are very proud to be working with Shrewsbury Town Football Club and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
