Boss Matt Taylor spoke to the media following our 3-1 victory over Fleetwood.
Goals from Nohan Kenneh, Chey Dunkley and Jordan Shipley saw Town secure a convincing win at the Croud Meadow.
Speaking to the assembled media, the boss discussed the game and the performance of Tunmise Sobowale who put in a man of the match display in the number 10 role.
And Matt also gave a transfer update with the window having officially opened today.
On the game: "We spoke before the game and you (Stuart Dunn of BBC Radio Shropshire) wished me a Happy New Year.
"And I said 'It's a New Year but it won't be happy unless we get three points.'
"We have got three points today. If I'm being really picky I think we should keep a clean sheet - but it's a ricochet and it goes past Marko (Marosi) when there is nothing he can do.
"But the third goal we scored today was excellent. We got into their half, there were numerous passes.
"It was a fantastic ball in from Tunmise who I have to say was really good today.
"Then Jordan Shipley showed that calmness with his left foot.
"We looked a threat today from set-plays. We changed our set-up because of the goals we have conceded in the last four games.
"That wasn't good enough it was costing us points. We changed that and it worked better today. It put players in areas where it was easier for them. There was no grey.
"We were far better with the ball. Mixed football. And when we got those big moments today we took them.
"Nohan Kenneh. We've been waiting a long time for Nohan to get a goal and he took his chance really well.
"And we scored again at a great time in terms of just before the break.
"We know that Fleetwood have got really good players. We knew they would come out (and have a go) in the second half.
"And I just felt when we scored the third goal we didn't go for the jugular enough, we still had opportunities.
"I thought Ryan Bowman was excellent today. He was a real handful. He put himself about. He was physical. He won his aerial duels but he was also good at holding the ball-up.
"That's got to be the minimum from Ryan Bowman now.
"All over the pitch, I felt we ran harder than the opposition. We moved the ball with more tempo today.
"I've spoken previously about our lack of options at the moment. We need, and the players need, reinforcements.
"We need a bit of help. But what does today do? It relieves a bit of pressure because we've now got 30 points. We are up to 13th.
"We have scored three goals at home. That is positive.
"As a football club, someone close to us fell ill yesterday. And what the players have done, they have dedicated that performance to him.
"That is a testament to the group of men we have. Today, they have given someone who means a lot to us something to smile about."
