Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jack Price, subject to international clearance.
The 31-year-old, who was born in Shrewsbury and attended Sundorne School, has put pen to paper on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
After making over 100 appearances for Wolves, Jack joined Colorado Rapids in 2018 and enjoyed five successful years in the MLS.
Jack ruptured his Achilles last year and has spent the past few months working with Town to return to full fitness.
Now, though, he is ready to play and help us in our final eight games of the campaign.
Boss Paul Hurst said: “Jack is a player that has played at the highest level.
“He is coming back from a long-term injury, but we believe his quality could play a part for us in our remaining games.
“He has been working on his fitness with us for the past few months.
“I’ve watched how he’s been around the place, the way he conducts himself, the way he communicates - and you can tell there is a respect there from the rest of the players.
“We do have to mention he has been out for a long time. He is not suddenly going to be playing 90 minutes.
“But whether he is starting, or more likely coming off the bench, the quality Jack has can help us.”
