Former Shrewsbury Town Scholar George Capenter joined the Academy's backroom staff in 2017 as an Analyst Intern.
George was part of the Town Youth Team between 2012 and 2014, but wasn't offered a professional deal and instead went to university.
He studied Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, before studying for an Msc in Performance Analysis at the University of Chester.
After a year as an intern, George was made Head of Academy Performance Analysis in June 2018.
