‘Toto’ signed from Hartlepool United on a two-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017.

The 6”4 Congolese international came through the ranks at Everton, where he enjoyed loan spells with Macclesfield Town and Accrington Stanley, before signing permanently for Stanley in January 2012.

He made 20 appearances for Lancashire club before leaving football to travel the world, which included a spell playing for Vietnamese club TDCS Dong Thap.

He returned to the UK with his love for football rekindled and joined Southport in January 2014.

After impressing for Southport he was signed by Grimsby Town for the start of the 2014/15 season – where he met gaffer Paul Hurst.

He spent two successful seasons at Grimsby, earning promotion to the Football League in 2016, before joining Hartlepool that summer.

He featured 25 times for the North-East club before Paul Hurst came knocking, this time as Shrewsbury manager.

Nsiala has gone onto become a fans favourite and formed a formidable centre-back partnership with Mat Sadler last season.
