Defender Morgan Feeney was one of Matt Taylor's first signings after joining Shrewsbury Town from Carlisle United.
The 24-year-old has been highly sought-after this summer after skippering Carlisle to League Two promotion last season.
And he put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at The Croud Meadow - with Morgan our second signing in as many days following the permanent capture of Carl Winchester.
Born in Bootle, Morgan came through the Everton youth system and was named skipper of the Toffee’s under-23s side at just 18 years old.
He then had a spell at Sunderland before joining Carlisle in January 2021 and has won caps for England at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level.
