Hailing from Salford, Nathanael is a defender who signed for Shrewsbury Town in the 2021 January transfer window from Premier League outfit Manchester City - signing an 18-month contract.
The 19-year-old first joined City at 10-years-old and spent nine years in the prestigious City academy. An England U16 international, he represented the Young Lions, in the Montaigu Tournament in April 2017.
Primarily a left-back but also comfortable in midfield, Nathanael describes himself as 'confident and composed' on the ball and likes to exploit space with driving runs when the opportunity arises.
