Signed from Middlesbrough in June 2014, goalkeeper Jayson became the first Swiss player so join Shrewsbury.
He started his career with Swiss giants FC Basel and was capped by Switzerland at under-17, 18, 19 and 20 level. He was also called into his country's under-21 squad.
Loan spells followed at FC Concordia Basel, Yverdon-Sport and FC Schaffhausen before he joined Middlesbrough in the summer of August 2012.
But he was restricted to three first team games for the Riverside Stadium club before opting to join Shrewsbury.
Jayson enjoyed a stellar first season at the Greenhous Meadow, breaking the record for the most clean sheets in a league season, 22.
In his second season he made 37 appearances in all competitions despite a series of minor injuries.
He signed a new contract in the summer of 2016 which will keep at the Meadow until 2018.
During the 2016/17 season Jayson recieved international honours with Canada, whom he qualified for through his mother - making his debut against South Korea in November 2016.
He was called-up by Canada for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup in the USA.
