First Team Coach
Danny, a former Wales international goalkeeper, joined the staff as goalkeeping coach in July 2013, also registering as a player.
In December 2018, he was appointed first team coach by new Manager Sam Ricketts.
Born in North Wales, Danny clocked up nearly 200 appearances in two spells with Tranmere Rovers and also enjoyed four seasons as near enough a regular at Grimsby Town when the Mariners were in the second tier of English football.
He also had spells with Leicester City, Burnley, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United, playing more than 500 career games.
Capped by Wales at under-21 level and B level, Danny is also the proud holder of 16 full international caps. He made his debut away to Switzerland in 1996 with his final cap coming 11 years later in Cyprus.
Since joining Shrewsbury he has been part of different managerial regimes and is now the longest serving and well respected member of the backroom staff.
He even had spells as Caretaker Manager in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons.
