Graham Barrow joined the Shrews coaching team in June 2019 as Sam Ricketts’ Assistant Manager – following the Welshman from Wrexham AFC.

The highly experienced coach began his post-paying career with Chester City in 1992 as the Blues’ player-manager before spending time with Rochdale, Bury and Wigan Athletic – where the 65-year-old won the FA Cup with Roberto Martinez as his Assistant Manager.

Barrow began his professional playing career relatively late at the age of 27 when the midfielder signing for Wigan Athletic from Altrincham. For the Latics alone, Barrow made 212 appearances in all competitions. Barrow then went on to spend eight years with Chester before retiring in 1994.
