Shrewsbury Town

Elliott Bennett is Town’s vice-captain and boasts a wealth of experience having played over 500 career appearances, including 59 Premier League games for Norwich City.

He began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers and went out on loan to Crewe Alexandra and Bury before transferring to Brighton and Hove Albion in 2009.

After two years with the Seagulls, Norwich bought the midfielder and loaned him back to Brighton and Bristol City over the course of his five years at the club.

Bennett’s final stop before returning home to Shrewsbury was Blackburn Rovers, where he spent another five years, making over 200 appearances over four Championship seasons and one League One season.
