Shrewsbury Town announced the loan signing of Palace youngster Killian Phillips until the end of the 2022/23 on December 29th 2022.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who became Steve Cotterill's first signing of the new transfer window, joined the Eagles in January 2022 and signed a two-year contract to join Paddy McCarthy's under-23s.
The Irishman has made 21 appearances for Palace's under-21s in his 11-and-a-half months in England, scoring four goals and notching three assists along the way.
Phillips played 51 minutes of Palace's EFL Cup victory over Oxford United in August as well as their EFL Trophy matches against Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle in October.
The exciting young prospect has also appeared on the bench in the Premier League on two occasions so far this season.
Prior to his move to Crystal Palace, Phillips played for League of Ireland Premier Division side Drogheda United.
Standing at 6'3" and with the ability to play in defence, Phillips made 31 senior appearances with Drogheda after making his competitive senior debut in April 2021.
He broke through at Drogheda after coming through the ranks to play in the first team in the summer of 2020, but had to be patient before making his competitive start.
