Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce the launch of the new Fan Card.
This will allow supporters to buy admission to games at a reduced price and then go straight to the turnstiles at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Supporters will be able to select and purchase the Sky Bet League One games they want to attend via the online ticket system at anytime. They will then gain access to their chosen games by having their card scanned at the turnstiles.
The idea is to make it easier to purchase games and also to rewards those fans who attend regularly but a season ticket wouldn’t be an option.
The card costs a one off payment of £5 for adults and £3 for concessions; a ticket for each game then would be bought with a saving of £2, or £1 for a concession for every game.
CEO Brian Caldwell has been working on the Fan Card for a while and is pleased to finally see it launched.
“We’ve been working on this for a number of months and it’s great that we have finally launched it”, said Brian.
“We have been looking at ways to make it easier for supporters to buy tickets and for a way to rewards those fans who come to a number of games over the season.
“It is £5 for the adult card but that is a one off cost and then this allows you to buy a ticket for every game at a discounted price.
“If you come to three games you’ve got the money back and it then makes it easier for you to buy a admission to a game.
“It will mean that the game is on your card and you then go straight to the turnstiles without having to queue up at the ticket office.”
You can buy your Fan Card from the Ticket Office or online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/memberships.aspx?findmembership=0.
Cards purchased online will be posted to the registered address by the Ticket Office unless otherwise advised.
