Make It Yours | 2022/23 Half-Season Tickets
Half-season tickets go on sale at 12pm on Tuesday 13th December! Secure your seat for the rest of the 2022/23 season now!
Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce that our half-season tickets will be available from Tuesday 13th December covering the rest of the 2022/23 season.
Town currently sit just two points outside the play-off places in Sky Bet League One, so it could be an exciting second half of the season. A season ticket also guarantees your seat for any cup or Sky Bet League One games.
From just £230, as an adult you can guarantee your seat for the remaining 12 home league games of the season – a price that works out at just over £19 per game.
The half-season ticket is valid from the Cheltenham game on Thursday December 29th, so would make a great Christmas present for the Shrewsbury Town fan in your life.
Town's CEO, Brian Caldwell, is pleased to be able to offer Town supporters another great season ticket offer.
"We sell quite a number every year as Christmas presents for example and it might be something somebody wants to spend their Christmas money on," said Brian.
"Our under-12's are still free, so to be able to offer something until the end of the season is a great offer for families as well.
"It would be great to see more Town fans inside Montgomery Waters Meadow to help push the team further up the table. We have a great squad here and we are looking forward to the rest of the season.
"With the ticket costing just over £19 a game, fans save money on each individual match with this offer too compared to a single match price."
Half-season tickets go on sale on Tuesday 13th December 2022 at noon.

The Club would like to thank all of those who purchased a season ticket for the 21/22 campaign. Your support has been incredible all season and it has been amazing to see the Salopian Family back in the stands after a long period away due to the pandemic.
Ticket prices have been frozen for over seven years and Town have also charged the lowest amount for an adult ticket this season, alongside only a handful of clubs in Sky Bet League One. Although we aim to continue to be one of the most affordable clubs in the league to watch a match at next season, we want to ensure that we fit in line with other clubs in Sky Bet League One. Increasing the matchday ticket prices will therefore have a knock-on effect on season ticket prices. Over the past two seasons, the Club has suffered huge losses due to the pandemic so we’re looking at all income streams to try and recuperate the losses.
The Club continuously strives to increase the number of youngsters supporting Town, with a better matchday experience, competitive pricing, and excellent work in our local community and around the wider county with our charity partners Shrewsbury Town in the Community. This initiative has seen the take-up of Safe Standing (a very popular area for young fans) rise from 66% prior to the pandemic to 80% this season.
Under-12s will once again be able to secure their seat for free when accompanied by an adult. 12-18s will pay just under £5 per game, whilst 19-23s will pay £9.13 to come to Montgomery Waters Meadow to back the boys in Blue and Amber each matchday.
Season Ticket Benefits:
- Every Season ticket holder for the 2022/23 season will be entered into a monthly draw to win:
First Prize – Price of season ticket refunded
Three STFC Goody Bags
- Cup ticketing priority.
Shrewsbury Town FC CEO Brian Caldwell said:
"We had great support this season. I've got to say I was concerned about how COVID would affect our numbers but we've had great backing from our supporters this season with season tickets and away support.
"We've looked at it and we're falling behind in terms of gate receipts compared to other League One teams. If everybody else puts their match tickets up by £1 or £2 then we'll fall even further behind and obviously at some point we need to address it, but it's not ideal, it's never an ideal scenario, and we have empathy because prices are going up but at the same time if we are putting match ticket prices up, then that has to have some kind of effect on the season ticket prices. It's still going to be one of the lowest [in the league] if not the lowest, depending on what everybody else does.
"The season ticket obviously guarantees you your seat for all 23 home matches in a season, the opportunity to get your own seat again for cup matches, priority for bigger away matches, and cup priority too. We're also going to continue to do a draw where one person per month wins the price of their season ticket back and we're going to continue the goody bags too because I think that's gone down well. The price works out for around £15 per home league game which is very good value in my opinion and that's why we've always tried to pitch it low, to encourage more people to come and watch us play."
We are once again running our finance scheme, which will let supporters pay for their season ticket by direct debit, to spread the cost over the season.
If you are interested in the direct debit scheme, please contact the Ticket Office for more details.
