Shrewsbury Town

TUNMISE Sobowale signed for Shrewsbury Town in the summer of 2023 after leaving boyhood club Waterford.

The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option in the club's favour.

A versatile player, Tunmise featured as a right wing-back, centre back and as a central midfielder whilst playing for Waterford in the League of Ireland First Division.

‘T’ has spent the majority of his career contracted to Waterford however he has also embarked on loan spells to Spanish side Hercules and Irish outfit Athlone Town.

Following his loan spell in Spain, Tunmise signed for Finn Harps and scored on his debut before returning to his boyhood club, Waterford.

He made 19 League of Ireland First Division appearances last season, scoring once.
