Lenny’s tour kicks-off with a bang at Radbrook, Shawbury & Cathedral Primary Schools
Lenny Roadshows kicked off this week in classrooms and sports halls around Shropshire with gasps and cheers as school children were surprised with a special guest appearance from Club mascot Lenny the Lion.
Lenny has been going along with STFC Community Coaches to their sports provision sessions as a special treat for students in the build up to Christmas.
He has been involved in special meet and greet sessions with children, posing for group photos, signing autographs and introducing his all-new Lenny’s Junior Supporters Club - as well as announcing that his good friend Father Christmas will be in his grotto outside the Greenhous Meadow prior to Town’s fixture with Walsall on Saturday 14th December!
Lenny is already looking forward to meeting more children next week as the roadshows continue with visits pencilled in to Coleham Primary, Convent School and Oakmeadow, Bayston Hill.
The next wave of roadshows are set to continue from January in the New Year. If you would like your child to be part of the Lenny Roadshow experience, ask your child’s school to contact us at Shrewsbury Town FC and we can arrange a FREE sports coaching taster session with a guest appearance from Lenny, and maybe even a first team player too!
