Great savings when buying season tickets as families
Shrewsbury Town announced their season ticket prices for the 2018/19 Sky Bet League campaign earlier this week.
U12s will get in free for all Sky Bet League games while young adult prices have been frozen and the age limited raised to U24s.
There are also more savings to be had when families purchase their tickets together.
Family tickets work out at £13.05 for an adult per Sky Bet League game while a season ticket for fans aged 11 to 18 years of age drops to just £2.40 per Sky Bet League game.
Town CEO Brian Caldwell has pledged to make it cheaper for families and young supporters to come along to the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
“We are trying to encourage mums and dads with children or grandparents with grandchildren to come to the games”, Brian said
“We’ve got a lot of activities going on in the county that Jamie (Edwards) and his team in the community run, so it’s important we capitalise on that and try and get people along.
“If we get a child along through a community initiative or youth group offer who enjoys it then maybe they can persuade a parent or grandparent along to come with them and hopefully the next step is to try and get them to become season ticket holders.
“I do believe if you can get children of a certain age hooked on the club then you will be a supporter for the rest of your life.”
